Just read an interesting article in Great Lakes Angler that said that the whole controversy over Asian carp may be for naught. In a nutshell, a researcher from the University of Michigan stated that he doubts that the carp can survive for long in the lake and certainly will not be able to reproduce! Turns out the eggs need 75* water moving at 2.2mph over 25-50 miles to hatch and if they sink, they die. Further developments as they occur. Tom
