The Summer of Singing Cicadas

17 Years Already??
"We can say the 2007 emergence started 17 years ago when millions of nymphs emerged from the ground, climbed trees, transformed into Cicadas, reproduced, deposited eggs in the trees and then died. After about 2 months, the new nymphs hatched from eggs, fell to the ground and burrowed down to begin the recent cycle...."

Lake Fork Monster Bass

"As we move out of the spawn and into postspawn and summertime patterns, fishing will stabilize and good fish will be caught on more predictable patterns. And once the summertime patterns get going, late May, June, and July is my 2nd most favorite time of the year, with big fish coming regularly on swimbaits, crankbaits, and Carolina rigs out deep and on jigs along deep weedlines.
